WCNW Chamber 2024 Recognition Awards Headline Sponsored by Ellis & Co

A year passed, and the Ellis team had once again in 2024, slipped into their finest black tie attire for another spectacular Annual Ball and Recognition Awards hosted by the West Cheshire and North Wales (WCNW) Chamber of Commerce. 

Set in the stunning pavilion at Chester Racecourse, this ceremony brought together an impressive array of businesses from across the region to recognise and applaud the remarkable achievements of the past year. From innovative startups to established industry leaders, the ten award categories in this ceremony highlighted the resilience and ambition that continues to drive our local economy forward.

Ellis was proud to again sponsor this event and one of the night’s most coveted awards: The Ellis & Co Business of The Year Award. Opened to businesses of all sizes and sectors within the region, this award celebrates those who have demonstrated a successful track record of excellence and achievement, as well as shown exceptional growth and innovation over the past year. For 2024, this prestigious award’s nominees were a diverse group of outstanding businesses:

After much anticipation, it was Oliver & Co Solicitors who took home the coveted trophy, as their impressive success and forward-thinking approach to business was recognised.

In addition to the awards, the evening featured a sumptuous three-course meal, entertainment from the talented Skyknights band, and a charity auction and Wonka-themed raffle to raise funds for the North Wales Air Ambulance — an incredible cause that we were thrilled to support.

With the Ellis & Co team attending, the night was a perfect blend of business, celebration, and festive cheer. Not only was it a chance to reflect on the incredible achievements of local businesses, but it was also a moment to celebrate our own milestones from the past year.
